Why India

Documented quality

Competitive pricing against Turkey's own strong domestic machine tool industry gives Indian suppliers an opening primarily on total cost and specific configuration flexibility.

Competitive pricing

The conformity requirements that apply under Turkey's Customs Union relationship with the EU are confirmed with each buyer at the quotation stage, so documentation expectations are settled before production.

Responsive support

India-Turkey trade ties continue to develop, and Indian manufacturing exports are increasingly considered a credible alternative to Chinese equipment among Turkish buyers seeking to diversify suppliers.

Logistics & trade ties

A 2.5-hour time difference from India makes real-time remote diagnostics straightforward within a single working day.

Cutting and welding machine demand in Turkey

Turkey has one of the world's most developed machine tool and metalworking industries, with clusters in Bursa's automotive sector, Konya's machinery manufacturing and the Gebze-Kocaeli corridor near Istanbul. This is a mature, competitive market where Turkish manufacturers themselves export fiber laser cutting machines, so import demand is concentrated among fabricators seeking specific specification or price advantage rather than a fundamental technology gap.

Turkish buyers are sophisticated and price-competitive, often comparing Indian equipment directly against domestic Turkish brands and Chinese imports, so documentation, warranty terms and total landed cost after Turkey's import duty structure are all carefully scrutinised before purchase.

Shipping terms and logistics

Sea freight from Kolkata or Haldia to Mersin or Istanbul typically routes via the Suez Canal with an indicative transit of 18–26 days, one of the shorter sea routes from India into Europe. CIF delivery is available to your nearest Turkish port alongside standard FOB Kolkata or Delhi terms. Standard export terms are FOB Kolkata or Delhi / CIF.

Warranty, spares and remote support

Machines carry a 12-month warranty on core systems, backed by remote diagnostic support typically within 4 working hours and stocked wear spares — nozzles, lenses, torch consumables, contact tips and drive rollers — for prompt air-freight dispatch to Turkey. Customised extended warranty available on request.

Export orders are quoted on FOB Kolkata or Delhi / CIF terms, with 70% advance with confirmed order, 30% before shipment.

Currency and regulatory notes

Quotations are issued in US dollars, the standard invoicing currency for Turkish import transactions given lira volatility.

CE marking is recognised under Turkey's Customs Union agreement with the EU, and we confirm the marking and documentation each order requires at quotation, before production begins; import duty on industrial machinery is generally moderate but buyers should confirm current rates and any additional conformity requirements with their gümrük müşaviri (customs broker).
